glad your entertained,LOL,here's SWEETIE PIE again, BTW is she a PURE N.Florida eastern or MIXED locality or BOTH?

Snakesunlimited1 Mar 04, 2005 12:55 PM

The mother of your pair has had a really long shed for some reason???? I don't know why. She started to shed last night and it was a bad shed snd she still has some on her. I am going to soak her tonight and get the rest off. If she looks good I will post a pic if not then I won't cuz I don't want you telling "Sweetie Pie" her momma is ugly. LOL E-mail me or give me a call and I will try to explain the locale of the parents.
Snakesunlimited@SbcGlobal.net is my new email incase you don't have it.

Come to think about it she does look like your "east brooks" I can't wait to get a pair of those, hopefully everyone won't grab um all before I get at least one (a Hypo)... I'm kicking myself for not jumping all over these when you had um in the classifieds, last season.

Man,you're gonna leave me bankrupt... lol

this is like Palientology(spell?)i think that the low land king L.G.Sp.Goini of the pan handle are a late intergrade because of the variablity of almost every individual (ive seen)btw I may be a victim of corruption cause of the specimens ive seen? and or lack of knowledge. so what i say may or (hopefully) not pis anyone Off. because this is an educational forum im hypothisizing.L8r.....Chris btw we just got a nice CHILL here in Miami and feed 2 days ago #$%^&$%^ good nite til L8r

Compare Rainer's (hypo brooksi X eastern) and notice that the lightening of scales in the darker saddle areas are much larger than those of ZF's snake. Rainer's animal is quite a bit lighter in general and ZF - Your snake is darker looking with much smaller looking speckles. It looks like your snake is a speckled king with widely spaced bands every few inches - a very neat & different looking animal! Looks quite striking! (I would expect THAT look since MOST goinis appear darker than most brooksis - Rainer's animal IS indicative of a Brooksi X Eastern because of the broader areas of lightening in each scale)
Rainer's animal is also very handsome but does NOT look like yours ZF! (But I wouldn't mind having either one, but PERSONAL taste leans me towards ZF's animal) Thanks for the NICE pics ZF & Rainer!
MY 1.5 cents,
Hey JETZEN: MUTTLY STILL RULES!

JETZEN Mar 03, 2005 09:37 PM

he is the biggest (that's alive in a collection) somebody please correct me if i'm wrong. MUTTLY is still a pup and i aint power feeding him like i did BuTT uGLy. ANYWAY i'd like to see Rainer get some recognition for producing the best of two worlds in one snake.

BlueKing Mar 05, 2005 09:44 PM

Thanks Jetzen. . .As fare as I know, he's the biggest living Kingsnake in captivity so far. . .

JETZEN Mar 06, 2005 11:07 AM

That's what i think. Tho i'm pretty sure there's a lot of private collections that nobody sees pics of, SO who knows?

JETZEN Mar 03, 2005 09:45 PM

I think goini are just a variation of L.g.getula. Does anybody agree/disagree.

Tony D Mar 03, 2005 09:45 PM

The blotched phase of goini is pretty much understood to have some degree of goini influence.
