Didn't know if there was a special listing for this little one, but I have a new baby armadillo.
Any help in raising, advise or helpful hints would be grateful
Thanks

PHEve / Eve
Hi Eve,
Good to hear from you again. You've been an excellent source for information and I thank you all who have given me help.
Yea, it's getting crazy sometimes, now my wife has me pciking up new babies for our lizard house. This is a very infectious past time. Don't tell my wife but I really like our new friends. Most people think I have a few hinges loose because I talk baby talk to the new babies. Even my son looks at me and shakes his head, what does he know.
I also picked up a new bearded dragon, his name is georgie. What a character, most of the time he sits under his lamp with his mouth open. I read that this is normal, including standing up straight against the glass in the corner fast asleep.
Along with twelve tanks now in the house our family consists of:
1.0.0 day gecko (louie)
1.1.0 skunk or white lined lizard (big al)& (allie)
0.0.3 baby emerald lizards (no names yet)
1.0.0 columbian tegu (monty)
1.1.0 adult emerald lizards (boris and natasha)
0.1.0 veiled chameleon
0.0.1 green anole
0.0.1 grass lizard
1.1.2 golden geckos (one just laid an egg)
0.1.0 green iguana (iggy)
newest arrivals
0.0.1 bearded dragon (georgie)
0.0.1 armadillo lizard (arazamus - raz for short)
One of these days I'll have all their photos on my lizards and geckos photo album. http://stano40.tripod.com/lizardsandgeckos/
There's a couple of photos of georgie on the album and I have yet to get raz. Raz keeps hiding on me when I come near.
Found another site for beardie's (TnC.com) they have a forum there too and I posted a message there to concerning georgie.
Thanks again eve, it's always great hearing from you and getting your advice.

PS how are the baby emeralds doing? I think my female may be gravid again. Hope not, not this soon.
Yep, it happens to all of us who get into reptiles, they are just so fascinating, and diverse, you want one of EVERYTHING, lol .
As far as the baby talk to the hatchlings or small ones, hahaha I think we all fall into that, when you see a tiny lizard, my goodness ya have to admit they are CUTE!
I moderate on the bearded dragon forum also, so I did see that you got a beardie buddy also,
you definetly have caught the BUG, so to speak. Congratulations on him.
I have a new lizard coming on tues, a mate for my saharan uromastyx, long over due, hhehehe so it just never ends, Bob.
My baby swifts are getting big and fat, and have a pair going to a new home soon as weather is nice.
That leaves me 3 pretty little males. Have to move them out also, as like you say about your adults, I also think my girl is pregnant again. (I'm sure of it)
Hey take care Bob, see ya around town,*smile* I'll be moseying over to the beardies shortly

Where did you get your cordylus cataphractus? I have found many lizards referred to as armadillo lizards, but they are a different subspecies and do not look nearly as cool!
Thanks arasmus is really cool to touch. He likes to be held if you can get him to stop running all over you.
I think my wife found this one in a N.H. Petco store.
Check it out!
