Yep - Femoral pores become prominent with age, mainly in male dragons.

I havent been to this forum in years...your name is familiar, do you also go to now or in the past the leopard gecko forums?

I have had dakota for years i just dont recall these being out much, do they retract or stay out as they age?

cant find my bearded dragon book to look it up....

Thanks

Sue

Hey Sue - Yep I have been on the Leopard gecko forum back in the day, lol. They usually stay out as they age, I wouldnt worry about them. If you have a camera, you can take some photos of it and we can see, but from what you described it is normal.

They are femoral pores. The "things" sticking out are a waxy substance secreated by the pores.
