Eggs!!!!

So I was checking on my leos and noticed something a little unusual . . .

My leos laid eggs!! What do I do??? Totally not expected . . . I mean All I have is Desert Blend in the habitat . . . and that shwat they laid in . . . I was so totally hoping ot have more time to do research and stuff . . . Do they look right, how do I know if they're fertile . . . ????

yeah, those are infertile, put a lay box with her, fill it with bed a beast, eco earth or sphagnum pet moss, this way, if she lays anymore and they are fertile, you wont lose them, you can pretty much just throw those away

Don't throw them away!!! There is a chance they're fertile - unless you are absolutely 100% sure that your boy & girl haven't mated. Keep them for a few weeks - you'll be able if they're infertile because they'll blow up like balloons.

But if those were just laid, it's WAY too soon to tell.

By the way, what're your leos doing in the cam?

both eggs are doscolored and deflated..they are either dead..or infertile...if they feel soft and like half full water baloons

I was always told by the big time breeders like Golden Gate to save them anyway... Some of them have had eggs laid that looked hopeless & infertile - only to have a beautiful baby leo hatch out of them.

The running advice on this board at one time was to keep them until there was absolutely NO doubt as to whether or not the eggs were infertile.
