A White Skin "Ulcer"? - help!

amandajones187 Mar 04, 2005 01:46 PM

Please help....

Until last night, my juvenile RESs have been in pefect health.

Last Night I noticed 2 have white spots on their necks.... eeek!

Poor guys... filtration & water quality are fine... I am a maintenance maniac...

1- What is the best way to heal their sores?
2- What may have caused this?

Please help!

This could be a fungal infection or possibly a bacterial infection on the skin. Impossible to tell without a picture. Also -- if you have a good herp vet near you I would suggest having them look at it if is does not clear up or shows any signs of spreading. There are treatments you can do for these conditions but I don't want to advise you to do something without knowing exactly what is wrong (if anything at all)
