Incubator heat source "revisited"!!!

SnakeSmith Mar 04, 2005 05:41 PM

Hello,

Would anyone know the appropriate length of 11" (20 watt)heat tape to use in a 5 cu. ft. freezer incubator? Also, I noticed that with the instructions for the heat tape that they recommend the tape temp. is no higher than 95 deg. If you open the door to the incubator for any period of time, the tape must receive full power (unknown temp.)until the thermostat acknowledges the temp. is just about right. Any thoughts???

Thanks again,
Glenn Smith
