I've been posting/complaining a lot lately about my iggy... it's the first time she's been gravid, and I don't know if all this is supposed to be happening, or I'm just blowing things out of porportion. She still hasn't been eating and has zero interest in the nesting box we prepared for her, and hasn't been going to the bathroom lately either. The vet gave us instructions to force feed her, so we did that, and now she's extremely bloated. Does anyone have any idea why that happened? She's so uncomfortable that she won't lie down or move around. I'm feeling really paranoid and frankly, scared as to what might happen to her. Any help would be REALLY appreciated.

I'd be worried about possible egg binding in that case and get her to a good vet quickly. Iguana's are very prone to egg binding. The bloating, not eating and lack of bathrooming is a warning sign. She may need Oxytocin or Pitocin to kickstart the egglaying process... and if that doesn't work possible surgery. I'd just take her in to a vet for some workups though first.
