Finally..........................

TomChambers Mar 04, 2005 11:16 PM

This was supposed to happen Tuesday at 7:39PM J/K

Anyway this is her finishing the fourth; I think there are three more to go.

My palpating skills are not finely tuned yet LOL.

I'll give the final tally in the morning after their set up.

Was it seven???????

No I was wrong.

She laid 9 good eggs (candled fertile)

Thanks for looking.

BTW, these are possible het hypo/ghost, I say possible because he hasn't been proven genetic yet.

This is the father AKA the frosted ghost(he sheds totally clear so I think he will prove out)
Sorry to repost an old picture.

Thanks Pete,

He is one of my favorite in my collection; he has a geat disposition.

Thanks again

I'm pretty confident that your Ghost is genetic. I have never heard of a clear cut ghost like yours not proving out! Has anyone had this happen??? If you sell any, sell them as hets with guarantee... if you are gonna sell them at pos prices... give me a call! LOL

By the way... I always undercount too. Palping is an art I have not mastered either. But more is good!

that I am not sure, is because I was told he was not compatible with the orange ghost line.

I haven't heard too much about the different lines of ghost and compatibility.

So I am going to hold back all the females, and give a few males to some friends until I find out for sure either way.

I do believe he is genetic, but I just want to be sure.

Someday I'll get palpating down, but yes more is great with me.

Thanks again

I have another clutch due next week, and a few more the following week.

I think I got skunked on a few smaller females, but I'm happy with the way this season went.

I hope all is going well with you as well.

Thanks again

I should have these females ready for this coming year or the next. I want to get them nice and fat.

DragonDavy
Hope you do well Tom and they all hatch out.

are you kidding me?? There's no way your Hypo is not genetic......he is KILLER!! Like Oz..if you decide to sell the babies as ph.....get the invoice started.....I want a pair!!.....lol

Very Nice Tom!!...Congrats again!!

TomChambers Mar 05, 2005 06:07 PM

Thanks man...LOL

I'm going to sit on them until I prove him out.

By then, either I'll have a bunch of hets, or more females which are always good to have around.

Besides you can't spend your money on ph ghosts, there is a piebald with your name on it out there...LOL

Thanks for the compliments

The breeding season started about a month early for me this year.

The nights were cold here (upstate NY) at the end of Aug, beginning of Sept. So I started cooling earlier.

It seems many people have had early clutches; there have been several posts of late.

Thanks and good luck with your season

So far, I'm a month ahead of schedule. I should have my first clutch around April 25th. It's hard here in Florida since cooling is best done artificially. Next year I hope to start earlier when my snake room is completed.
