Opinions on bean farm Hovabator Incubators....

Savvgawd Mar 05, 2005 01:46 AM

It was recommened on this forum to check out the Hovabators made by bean farm. Does anyone personally use these incubatos? What is your hatch rate? Do you recommend these incubators for Retic eggs? Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

Have you checked out the reticulated python forum? The large eggs are rather unique to the big pythons and I'm sure many people have had to over come your incubation issues. I'm sure more specific information and expertise would be found there.
Good luck

You may want to try to contact them via email or phone. I live in WA and have dealt with them many times from home and at shows. They should be able to answer any ?'s you have. Now for what I've heard. I remember hearing they are only good for something like a cluth of Ball python eggs. Don't take my word for this though, find out for yourself. I'm curious myself, because I may be breeding my Tics as early as next season. I may opt for the fridge conversion incubator. Good luck!

There is some good & interesting information at Bob Clark's site re: incubating large python eggs in rubbermaid containers with heat tape.
