Does anyone know what kind of frog this is?

anson Mar 05, 2005 11:24 AM

They were bought from a pet store as tad poles (unknown)
They are now around 2.5 inches snout to vent.
They also get a light metallic copper color on their backs sometimes.

They have slight flash colors on the legs and sides. Mostly yellowish.

It's a Cuban treefrog.

I agree, it looks like a cuban. They are pretty fun frogs to watch.

I agree too! We use to have Cubans around our yard. They eat smaller native frogs among other things, which makes them not the best exotic to have running around in the wild...
