all chams are considered "hard" to take care of. in my opinion no cham is "tame" in the sense that a dog, cat, or iguana is. i don't hold mine at all because that's what i have bd's and an iguana for. it seems to me that panther chams will allow you to hold them a little better than most species but they can be pricey (worth it though
)
as for which one, you have to answer that for yourself, i got a veiled first. mean as all heck, eats me outta house and home, but gorgeous. veileds are my favorite and best of all they are easy to find and moderately priced (sometimes too low because people can buy them on impulse).
since you are posting before you buy, i know you'll give any of them a good home.
