Good news

Samael ate for the first time yesterday. She found her food bowl and ate the crickets in there. That was really interesting to see. She has adjusted so quickly to her new surroundings, but I'll still give her plenty of time to get acclimated. Diablo has moved around a bit and I'm hoping he'll find the food bowl in the next little while.
I got the shed off of Samael's head very carefully. I held it in place and she pulled it off. She still has some on her legs, should I help her get that off too? (I don't want to freak her out needlessly if I can help it).

Thanks for all your help. Satanics are awesome animals!

To help get it off of her feet you can put her in a tank with heavily saturated paper towel in it and that will make it easier to get off(just put some branches and plants in there so she doesnt get stressed). She should just get it off her-self but if she doesnt put her in the tank again and then carefully pull it off. If there is any resistance when pulling it off dont keep pulling it as it can rip there skin. Here is the link for pro-exotics verson of this with a leopard gecko http://www.proexotics.com/FAQ_answers_Soaking_Program.html and click on the link that says "on extremely damp paper towels".

Also just mist her a couple times a day. Mist her feet heavily. I would try this before the tank with wet paper towel. Hope that helps Erik
