If anyone has any suggestions please just state what you think.

my veiled chameleon was shedding the skin on his face for the past couple of days. he was rubbing his head to get it off on the artificial vines i bought from the pet store. now i noticed his left eye was almost closed and it was sucking in like a snails. i checked him about 20 mins later and its completely closed. is it infected wat should i do. answer ASAP

For now spray well or a shower. I have a plant i shower my guy on. place in the tub turn the shower head towards the wall and turn the water on hot. the droplets will hit the plant and your cham. do this for about a half hour. maybe it will give him a chance to wash out what ever is in there. and lastly you may have to visit a vet, one who is experience in reptiles. good luck matt

the eye is still looking bad and its bloated to about twice the size of the good eye. i keep spraying him down with warm water but i dont think its doing anything

it sounds like a piece of shed. Is it bulging or swollen? The bulging is their way of cleaning and you can help that with some gentle misting. You may see him rub it on a branch, too. If it continues I would bring him to the vet tomorrow (Monday) and have it checked out. Will he sit under a dripper? Luna will soak her whole head and then clean her eyes when needed, so if he will be sure the dripper is on all the time. The shower can't hurt either, though I would not use hot water in the shower, just warm.

keep us posted

the problem seems to be fixed. the swelling is gone and his eye is open. occasionally he will close one of his eyes, maybe someone can tell me why but other than that he seems fine. i gave him extra misting and it loosens up the skin i guess
