sav or argus?

im looking to get one of the following,
a sav or argus, i no the both need about the same size cage when adults, no problem. i heard that savs are more tame then argus is this true, who is a good breeder for both who go the the nabc show in pa, for the sav does anybody breed them that have cbb.

I would say savs are more calm and laid back than an argus.
Argus are more highstrung and active.
Savs calm down quicker.
Savs eat a good deal, argus eat a great deal.
I believe JCMonitor still has some CB savs and I believe he's sitting on some eggs now.
A CB sav is going to cost a little more than a WC but worth the price. No need to worry about dealing with parasites brought in from Africa.
Just my 2 cents.

My personal preference is Argus. They are more active so they do more than just lay around. I think they are a lot prettier also. If you want something to handle a lot and take walking on a leash, the Sav may be the better choice. (I have a Lab for that) Definately try to get a CBB one though.

BTW I do not recomend walking a monitor on a leash.

Get the one you like the best after doing a lot of research.

I second that no monitor on a leash, sucker took off and left the leash. haha =-)
