What constitutes a healthy appetite??

MajesticRose Mar 05, 2005 08:45 PM

Yea, I know, anther stupid question. But I'm wathcing my boy eat now, and he's very active when the ligths go out, while my girl seems to be very shy.

Anyways . . . how many crickets should they be eating in a feeding?? Even though they are sub--adults, SHOULD they be eating 3-4 times a week, or daily like juvies??

At work, we still feed our subs daily, and they still 5 or more crickets a feeding. Very active eaters (Wiggle their tails before they pounce and everything, fun to watch eat). However, if my guys are eating 5-6 between both of them a night, is that still okay??

This is something I would like to know the answer to also. My girl is a ferocious eater! She'll eat up to, if not more than, 10 crickets per day. She's not overweight though. I don't want to overfeed her, but I don't want her to be hungry either.

sounds good to me.....since my full blown adult geckos eat 10-15 prey items every other to every third night.
