BRBs fairly often will have small dents in the eye caps. Thse dents seem to occur more often in dehydrated specimens but they do occur in specimens that are healthy and seem well hydrated. You have had her about 2 weeks now? How big and how old is she? Where did you get her? Do you think she is captive born? As you know BRBs will have problems if kept too dry. One of these problems is difficulty shedding which can leave the eye cap on one or both eyes. The best correction for an eye cap left on is to wait until the next shed and keep the humidity especially high and the snake will often shed the extra eye cap along with the entire complete shed.

You know, my BRB had a dent in one of her eyecaps before. I had her out and was handling her when I noticed. The first thing that came to my mind was that someting hit her eye or she ran into something. It really worried me, because, well, when you see that, all you can think is ... OUCH! After inspecting her and going through a mild panic, I couldn't figure out any way to fix it, so I just went to put her away. Now usually when I put her away she goes and takes a dip in her water dish (gets rid of all those yucky people germs and scents), so I didn't think much of it when she went for the dish. As I turned away I heard a bunch of splashing. I went back to the habitat to see what was going on. She had only her head under the water and was shaking it vigorously. When she finished after a few seconds she began to travel about the habitat. I watched her, not quite knwing what had just happened. Then I noticed the eyecap was no longer dented in. Funniest thing.

That is the extent of my experience with dented eyecaps. Not much help, but entertaining none-the-less!
