Lele what did you do when...?

jeffreypeacock Mar 06, 2005 06:35 AM

I had the same incident with you during the blackout. The timers on my lights must have went wrong or something, but when I woke up this morning only the UV lamp was on and I checked the timer and it was on for 4 hours! Poor cham, he was awake from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM. He looked really tired. I turned off the lights, but what do I do? Resume normal times for the lighting or do I just let them sleep it off for a little while in a dark room. What did you do?

You may want to turn the lights out a couple (2) hours early today and then have them come on at the regular time in the morning. I would NOT encourage him to sleep in the middle of the day (dark room) and then get him up later as this may disrupt things further. Just put the lights out early and he will sleep when he is ready. Luna often goes to her sleep spot as much as two hours before lights out (after a hard day of chasing crickets - in a bowl! LOL!!) but I keep the lights on schedule.

He'll be fine
