one of my leos not really eating

iamyour_messiah Mar 06, 2005 09:31 AM

Hey,

My female leo of about 6 months has not been eating well these past few days. There doesnt seem to be anything wrong with her, she looks very healthy and alret, and has alwasy been well fed. I always realized she was very reclusive, casue she honstly NEVER comes out of her hide. Its so bad that when I feed her I alwasy have to lure her out of her hide with a cricket first, or else she wont even come out to eat. But now, she is even ruluctant to come out of her hide, even when theres a cricket in front of her. She will sort of come out slowly, but then once a get a certain distance away she loses interest and goes back inside. If the cricket actully crawls right up to her (they get into the hide sometimes) she will eat it...

any ideas?

as long as she's healthy and not showing any other signs of strange behavior then she's probably fine. you might want to try enticing her with different prey items such as a mealworm, waxworm, silkworm, or superworm.
