cARLTON JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU ON THE HELP YOU GAVE ME WITH MY VERY DARK JACKSON. THE HUMIDIFIER I HAVE WAS PROGRAMMED TO COME ON EVERY HOUR AND THAT MUST HAVE BEEN TO MUCH FOR HIM AND HE WAS NEVER GETTING WARM. I HAVE THE HUMIDIFIER COMING ON EVERY 3 HOURS FOR 20 MINUTES AND THAT SEEMS TO BE BETTER. HE IS A NICE COLOR. I ALSO NOTICED ONE PART OF THE ENCLOSURE WAS 70-73 AND I PUT IN A 75 WATT LIGHT BULB AND NOW THE WHOLE THING IS 77 AMBIENT AND 82-85 BASKING.IS THERE SUCH A THING AS TO MUCH LIGHT? I HAVE A BASKING BULB A UV LIGHT AND THE LIGHTS ON THE SIDE TO KEEP THE TEMPS NORMAL. I DO NOT WANT TO STRESS HIM WITH THOSE LIGHTS. THANKS MATT

That's good! I don't think you can really overdo general light levels. As long as he has a nice shady sheltered area he can retreat to, and there is still a temp gradient in the cage he should be fine.
