I must have missed something here recently.I thought all this time Sobek was a male and you knew so.When did you find out it was female?Or have I been sleeping to long Good luck.

You have no room to laugh, do you really think all those monitors were females, that never laid eggs, or god forbid, had the same problem as Sobek. F

I thought it was a sure thing.I admit I have no clue about anything important to sexing,breeding or anything.I THINK my female IS a female strictly on my LIMITED knowledge."She"everts rather large "somethings"only slightly smaller than my proven males(Much smoother looking also).I could be completely wrong about the sex,but it doesn't matter to me because I never have two of the same species to try to breed them.I'll leave that to the experts like you (who actually know what they are doing).I just never read here that Sobek was a giant girl.

Hey I remember that conversation as I posted it was a female as well. But got the cold shoulder of well sobek was everting his hemipenis etc. etc. LOL

Glad to find out I was not losing my mind calling a male a female. Hopefully others will learn from this and not think they have a male just cause they saw something evert. Look deeper into things then what is on the surface.

Hey I figure Rob Faust had Shadow for 2 years or more and was 100% sure he was female. Im not doing to bad I guess, she was hard to figure out. I knew for sure when she developed eggs.
