wheres tthe poop?

I have been feeding my girl a small to moderate sixed little pink rat every 5 to 4 days, three times she has eaten, and yet no poop. I have taken out all furniture I cant find it. Do they do it in the substrate if it is deep enough? She is a CB from siegal about 22 inches. Back ground temps are 78-80 in the day cold side, 85 on the warm side, with a sheltered hot spot round 90 humidity is 90, no poop maybe I am not looking hard enough?

Yellowconda,
.....Your temperature is about 5 degrees too hot. If you are measuring the temperature up off the floor of the cage the cage may be dangerously too hot down on the floor and under the substrate if you are using undertank heating. If the good hiding spots are all in the warm part of the cage the snake may stay there for the security it provides and this will also keep the snake too hot which can dehydrate it. Constipation could be a result of dehydration. There is not much waste from a pinky rat. Little boids very efficiently convert food to growth. But, there will be some waste and she should pass something. If you feed them rodents with hair they will pass a much larger stool.

That does sound to hot, It's a mistake most of us have made when we got our first RBs. Years ago when I got my first I set it up like I would a BCI and noticed that it moved around alot and didn't seem real comfortable so I lowered the temps a little and it parked on the cooler side so I lowered them some more till the little guy started spending most of his time in the middle.

Each RB is a little different but I've found that a warm side of 80 or a degree or two more with a cool side in the low 70s works best for me. If you watch where they spend the most time they will tell you what they want.
