Super Genetics

I caught some strange show on the Scifi channel last night (I very rarely watch that channel), and it was about genetically produced giant lizards that were in rainbow colors. It was fiction of course. Science can do a lot of strange things these days, and the leo breeders trying to come up with the most unique morphs all the time.

Just to start an interesting discussion, do you think it would be ethical to start creating morphs by using science? Like imagine a truly plaid leopard gecko! (They probably wouldn't be able to go that far, but hey, ya never know!)

in this forum you might start a fight not a discussion. seems in all the movies that genetic tampering is dangerous, i kind of agree with that mother nature created these animals for a reason and when you start to mess with that who knows what you get, maybe a 50 foot killer gecko. animals evolve all the time but it takes a lot more than a few generations it is just not supposed to happen that way. this is my opinion nothing more
