Glass snakes/lizards

buddygrout Mar 07, 2005 11:28 AM

I have two glass snakes I've had for a couple of weeks.
I've been feeding them crickets. What I want to know has anyone ever seen them eating earthworms? Earthworms are cheaper around here. I put a cup of worms in their terrarium, but due to burrowing I don't know if they ate any or not. I may have to take them out of the terrarium they are in to see next time.

I fed the glass snake to an eastern king that has been refusing mice and rats since coming out of brumation. It grabed it right away but I didn't have my camera.

I have a wc eastern king that was hit by a car and has a few problems. She'll take a skink and glass lizard though. I just want her to eat something- then maybe I can get her to rodents. Glass lizards will turn on a difficult feeder many times.

Hey, Mark, what's up? yeah, my baby desert kings may not take a pinkie at first but will slam a glass lizard every time. What have you got cooking in the oven this breeding season?
