Here is an Eastern King I caught in 1986. Anyone want to guess where it was from??

Ill say SC maybe Jasper Co. ?

OK, I'll end the suspense and those were good guesses!!
He came from Charleston, SC. Actually might have been Summerville, SC. It was on the side of the road on Highway 61 heading towards Summerville. I flew past him and thought just maybe it is alive. When I got back to him he tried to crawl away. You can tell from the 80's pict I used to use artificial turf. After too many turf toe injuries, I switched to natural grass!

I wasnt too far off lol. Whatever became of that snake ?

Hey Keith,
not sure, what happened to him...I think I let him go off that same road a few months later. My brothers and a friend of ours are taking a drive down to Charleston at the end of April and we'll be looking along the way. I'll see if we can get some locale Eastern King picts for your site!
