He's a beauty Eve!!!! One of the nicest males Eve, both with coloration and plumpness (if that's a word LOL). I'll have to take a minute to get pics up of sub-adults and juvies as well.
Oh, sorry about the mishap today. I spoke with Lindsay this morning to let him know the females he sent arrived safe and sound through UPS and he mentioned the post office screwed things up for you. Go with UPS!!! the peace of mind is definitely worth the extra money. Hopefully he'll get them to you next week! Remember, go with Fed Ex or UPS!!! I've learned my lesson years ago and have heard too many negative things happening through the cheaper post office and dhl. :0) Not that this is a marketing scheme.......... LOL Not at all, just the reality.......
Awesome male again Eve!!!
Greg
There was a screw up , but thank goodness all is fine, And NOW temps have plumetted here, and after a beautiful spring day yesterday, its snowing here and like blizzard condidtions.
So with temps dropping so low, my gift to Crispy, LOL will have to wait, till next week. BUMMER !
Glad your fine Greg, and yours arrived safely. Lindsay is GOOD people,
I always enjoy our lizard conversations.
NICE to see you back on here too. Oh and I will be waiting for those PICS, so hurry up Greg and post em.

My post office (I live out in the burbs) told me right out that if the package is not mailed to a major city that it would be 2 days minimum, possibly even three depending on the address. This, keep in mind, is with Express Mail Overnight. I, personally, agree with Greg, Fedex or UPS, is more reliable. I had a bad experience with DHL also, so would not use them either. If someone wants me to ship to them using USPS, I always ask their city. If it is not a major city that the post office will guarantee overnight delivery, I refuse to use USPS. The welfare of the animal far supercedes the cost considerations.
Shipping always makes me nervous. Hope your guys arrive safe and sound.
Good luck!
Pam
Thanks Pam for the reply,
but I do live in a major city over the bride from Philadelphia airport, (major airport.
And I have 1 large main post office and 1 smaller in my town itself. Otherwise I would not use them.

Thanx for the info!
I will be checking with my P/O to see what they say. I am in the burbs but not the boonies so it may be ok.
At this point he is sked to ship on the 28th weather permitting.
It has been a long wait but for his good it was worth it. I would not have been able to be home enough with him while he was under 6mths old.

I'm glad you live by a major city, then you shouldn't have a problem. I have to say I was shocked when I questioned my post office. Funny how they say nothing when they are collecting the postal fee. I'm sure your new one will be spectacular. Post pics when you get him.
Pam
Well, one cannot be expected to inform customers of all policies all the time when everything is redily available... particularly as the USPS is a psuedo-government organization. The money-back guarantee probably has something to do with the non-uniformity of the service.

"Yes, it's a problem. No, I don't want to talk about it."
I guess never assume, but overnight should mean overnight. I guess you get what you pay for with our government, overcharged as a consumer, non-performance by the government agency.
