Axolotl availibility question?

jazzmachine Mar 07, 2005 06:19 PM

Hi there. I was just wondering if anybody knew how readily available these guys are? I am looking into getting one, but haven't had much luck so far. I live in Calgary, Canada, so not sure if it's harder because of my location or not. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly aprecciated. Thanks in advance.

Try the kingsnake.com classifieds (there is one ad for axolotls on there now), or Ward's Scientific.

Hi, from what I heard, only a few colleges and universitys have them, and you have to be a teach to order one, but thats rumor, good luck!

Hey thanks so far for the information. Greatly apreciated. Hopefully that part about having to be a teacher is just a rumor, but i'll have to find out here.

You do not need to be a teacher to order axolotls from Ward's Scientific, or Michael Shrom (who advertises in the kingsnake classifieds).
