If some of you remember I been trying to breed my pair of het albino boas sinc last year with no success. Well I figured I should get rid of the old wood cage I built, I did and got a 4' plastic cage from Alan at cheapcages.com and love the cage. Well I was ready to just sell the pair and use the money for something because I figured I wasnt providing proper temps and could not breed them. Today I went to change the newspaper in all the tubs and put aspen well when I got to the boas enclosure and pulled the sheet from over the glass I got a suprise my pair was locked up.yeeeeeees. I have been recently putting the sheet over the front of the cage because when cleaning the ball tubs The boa cage would be at heads level and the boas would act like my head was food as they got into striking position, my balls are all below the cage which sits on a book shelf that holds my tubs with the balls im wondering if covering the cage has to do with them breeding now? How long before I expect the female to lay? what type of records should I be keeping? I will watch my boa DVD from vpi for some info. I really like to thank all those that helped me.
