Hey everyone, just here to thank you all for helping me before. My mali is now eating like a pig, wish I could post a pic, but I don't have a digital camera (I know it's kinda sad). I think I got the "s dance" yesterday morning when I was putting in some food. I had no idea what that was until now, but I have to say those uros have got some moves Oh, and one more thing, now that he/she is eating and seems settled in, should I start handling him/her or what a bit more? Thanks ahead of time.

How long have you had him/her?

Usually it takes about 14 days to settle in, then feel free to take the little guy/gal out and play with him/her for about 5-10 minutes at a time.

If you could figure out if it has a favorite food then you could end each handling session with its favorite food/treat. That way it's positive reinforcement for good behavior while being out. It will also make them feel good about being out since they know if they are good they will get a treat.
