I saw in the facility photos of the cage you have the light bulb directly exposed in the cage and it looks like you just took a light socket drilled a hole and stuck it in....the greates idea ive seen since guiness in a bottle..brilliant but, what size were the sockets and what type just the normal you would find at home depot or lowes and sre they easy to wire or should an electric neophyte like myself look to someone else. And by the way thanks for the tip looking in the phonebook worked! Should have my rip off of you cage style up in two weeks

yes that is the type of standard light socket you can get at any hardware store for about a buck a peice, and they come in ceramic and plastic both of which are usually rated for at least 250 watts which is plenty. They are really simple to wire up, it only requireds two wire hookups. I buy small six-eight foot extension cords, cut the inlet sid off and strip the wires back and wire that to the outlet then just plug it in and you are done, that way you dont have to mess with making a plug end, just screw one wire to each terminal and voila instant light fixture. If you want multiple lights you can also use the outdoor floodlight fixtures from home depot, just wire them up the same way, those are what i use because you can adjust the direction of the light and they hang lower closer to the basking surface so i can use a lower wattage bulb.
good luck
