If this is an isolated instance you don't have anything to worry about.
If it happens again or you start to see weight loss, and reduced / no appetite, start thinking parasites.
I know that you keep Scelops. Have you ever handled the food, leo, or cage furnishings after handling the Scelops? The reason I ask is that quite a few years back I did fecals on about 15 western fence lizards I caught. Without exception they were loaded with entomeobas (sp?) and most also had coccidians. If you suspect your leo may have gotten sick through contamination, get it to the vet for a fecal asap. The drugs used to treat things like coccidia can be pretty rough on the patient and if you wait until the leo is really ill, it usually can't pull through.

This is the first time it has happened. I have only had the individual for a few weeks. I have never handled food, furnishings and or the individual after handling another species just because of the possibility of contamination. I am thinking that it is very well possible that they prey was simply to big as they were quite large. I will stick it out and keep a close eye on the individual and if anything ells happens I will take it to the vet as you recommend.
