Couple of dumb questions i'm sure

derekb Mar 07, 2005 10:02 PM

1st. What type/brand scale is the best to use in weighing corns. I see alot of post about corn weights, want to make sure mine is a healthly weight.

2nd. I have my corn 34" in a 29 gallon long tank. When he/she becomes 4-5' what is the proper enclosure size.

1. Up to you. Digital is easier to read (since you can tare it with the push of a button) but more expensive and probably unnecessary. Let's face it, you're not going to be worried about 1/100th of a gram. Analog is cheaper.

2. 20gal long is generally considered to be the "standard" minimum size for an adult, so yours should be fine...but if you can spare the space to get a bigger one, why not do it?

I would go ahead and move up to a 55 gallon long, or check out reptile cages (take for example the vision cages at www.lllreptile.com)
