how long should it take for a female to drop eggs?

ktulu654 Mar 08, 2005 11:20 AM

Ok, i posted about a month ago roughly, about my female leo that had a strange change in behavior, not eating much at all, staying in her moist hide all day, will not let me pick her up anymore, etc.. and when i say not eating much at all in the last 5 weeks she has eaten about 10 mealworms, 5 silkworms, and 1 butter worm. It was suggested that she may have eggs, even though she has never been with a male, and i was wondering how long after this change in behavior she should lay them. I have taken a few quick looks at her stomach and i think i can see eggs, but she is so quick and aggresive towards me when i try that i can not get a good look at her. i was thinking of taking her to the vet, however i can not find one in my area. I know some one posted a site with a list of herp. vets and i was wondering if they could post that again so i can see if one is in my area.

Sorry for the long post,
Thanks,
Ktulu
