WHAT IS LOWEST TEMPERATURE FOR CANDOIAS?

Toomas Mar 08, 2005 04:58 PM

Im very interested to keep different species of Candoias like Candoia carinata and Candoia aspera. But in winter at nighttime fall my room temperature sometimes to 59F (15C). Is it dangerous temperature for Candoias or that is no problem. Or should I heat Candoia at nighttime if my rooma temperature fall to 59F (15C)?

Im very sorry if that question is too stupid? I have not Candoias yet and therefore I need information about them.

There is a good website dedicated to the genus here on Kingsnake. Go up to the top of this page and click on Caresheets/FAQs/Features and I think you will find a link to it there.

Otherwise, do a search on weather.com and look at the seasonal averages they show for places in the Solomons, Fiji, New Guinea, etc and look at the average lows in the coolest season.
