day out

brokentoe Mar 08, 2005 06:17 PM

it was nice and sunny outside so i took argos out for some sun. when i took him back in he was a little fiesty with me. he kept trying to get out of my hand and he usually is not like that. this was his first time out. he doesnt seem stressed out, well i think he doesnt. but the way he acted kinda worried me. would it be a bad idea to take him out or what? or is this common and he just needs some getting used to? by the way he is 9 weeks old. any replies would be appreciated. ty

I find it common with mine that they get a bit freaked when outside.. Out of the 24 dragons I keep around 14 get a bit scared, and defensive when they go out..Most of them male.. My largest dragon Foster is a 23 inch 775 gram chicken he flips if any type of shadow shines in through the window.. never mind taking him outside LOL first time I did that was the last as he seriousely would have taken off a few fingers that day.. Normally by nature he is a big teddy bear, but definatly not outside!!

Picture is of Big Foster's reaction to the sun shining through the sliding doors
