Snakesunlimited1 Mar 08, 2005 07:10 PM

I had a chance to spend some time trying to tke pics of some of my animals today. Here are the best out of too many really bad pics. LOL I gotta take a class or something cuz I can't get a good pic of almost anything.
This is a male black pine I recently picked up.
Thanks Jason

Another shot that shows his real color on the tail.
Thanks Jason

And a third shot that I liked. I am getting two females on Friday to go with him. Hopefully I will produce some in a couple/few years.
Thanks Jason

Your post makes me yell " WOW!! " for two reasons:

1. That is a very nice black pine! Where did you get him from? How old is he?

2. Those killer blairs alternas in the background! Graybands are my second love. What is the story on those?

Also..that northern pic above is very nice as well! Very pretty!

Thank you so much for sharing!

Thanks I got the black pine from a buddy who is down sizeing his collection. He got the animal from Mark Bell. I don't know if Bell bred it or if he was brokering/reselling it cuz he does alot of both. The blairs in the background are my breeders who (ironically) I got from Mark Bell (male) and John Scmidt from Suncoast Herps (female). I think I slaughtered the spelling of John's name and that is to bad cuz he is a great guy. Look him up if you want Gray Bands. His animals are great feeders and they grow like weeds. He has bred for feed response and not locale so you get generic feeders. I produced 10 babies and all but one ate from his line. Funny thing is Bell buys "extra" animals off John so both animals might be John's. Anyway if you don't want my babies get some from John. He is a great guy.
Thanks Jason
