What is the best type of tile to use in a leo cage?
i use ceramic tiles.
I like natural slate. They really don't cost much more then ceramic, and you get all sorts of cool natural variations. I got mine from Home Depot for $1.90 a tile (12 x 12).
I also made hides with the slate by breaking a few tiles with a hammer, then siliconing them together in interesting shapes. Be sure to let the silicone cure for 48 hours before putting in with the gecko! I think it looks great, and the geckos approve as well!
