Could you an aboreal cage for a say a jungle or jaguar or like an IJ? I figure a Coastal would be way to large for an aboreal cage. Or would it be better to do just a regular enclosure for any carpet python?

I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but here is a post of my arboreal rack that I built:

I had a pair of adult IJ carpets breed in one of the bins this year, but for large carpets these would be nowhere near large enough. Hope this helps.

Are you a Dawg!? Go MSU! I am too...currently residing in Starkvegas pursuing a degree.
Anyway, almost all carpets will utilize an arboreal cage if they are in one. Usually the minimum floor space requirements for adult jungle and IJ's is 5-6 sq. feet. From there it really doesn't matter how high you go. They love to climb around at night
One thing about arboreal cages is that they seem to be slightly harder to control the heat due to the increase in height of the cage.
