well i hate to post happy news next to sad news, but right now ivan is laying her eggs! she completely ignored the box i made her. i orginally just had wet sand in the cage but walter segundo kept standing on it so i thought he might bother her so i made a box instead. well the damp sand i did not put in the box, she decided to spread it out across the cage and dig a really long tunnel. looking for the eggs tomorrow is going to be fun! i am hoping they are viable!

well i know she was digging well into the night. when i went to bed at almost 2 am she was still in there digging. she has not come out yet. i was a little worried but i just heard her moving around. she seems to have completely sealed off the area. i just hope she can dig her way out!
