gravid Spotted Python

hello everyone. i have been floating around these forums for a while now and i have finally decided to join the action. here is a pic i took today of my gravid spotted python. currently i own:

1.1 spottted pythons
1.2 savu pythons
1.1 ball pythons
1.1 woma pythons
2.0 Green tree pythons
3.5 leopard geckos

What and why is she in that thing? Wouldn't you want your gravid female to be as comfy as possible, not in trash cans?

i placed a large rubber maid container in the enclosure and a butter container in the enclousre as well, both filled with a bit of moss and vermiculite, and she always chooses the smallest place to lay. she loves her little hide away. i guess the best solution would be to take that hide spot out before she drops the eggs...

Nice picture, well done on catching that iridescence on the scales. I always find it's so tough to get on camera, they can be glowing like a beacon in your hand and when you take a picture there's barely any of that effect. I do have a good pic of my male that I'll have to dig out and post which has it.
