I may be able to get a 100% het for high contrast albino for $245 including shipping.
I am new to the price game...
good, bad?
I think that's a good price, and I am going to try to get it.

Isn't it amazing how everybody has "High Contrast" albinos and hets for sale. Funny thing is, they all seem to disappear when they get bigger. Hummmmmm, are they really "High Contrast"? I'm too lazy to post a pic of one, so maybe someone out there can post a true "High Contrast" albino. To answer your question. If it's a baby male, and it really is a het for "High Contrast"(Lol) that's probably about right. Ask to see the "High Contrast" adults that produced it. I don't think 90% of the people really know what one is. Almost every baby albino looks "High Contrast". Good luck.
yep.....I .and alot of people.think that it all depends on the hets or albinos that produced the baby albino to whether it is going to be high contrast or no contrast.and will it fade anyways?......
anyways.........$100 males.....$800 pairs is fairly normal price......
.......?.right.........
........I sold 2 het males and still have 4 left so I don't think they are really really high in demand.....
(want them Neal?).............

Is it a male? Female? How old and who's selling it? As already pointed out, is it really from a high-contrast line? If a very young male, then it sounds about right.

My experience has been if it's too good of a deal it's probably het for NOTHING. Don't ask....demand to see as much evidence as he or she has that validate the high contrast and het status. Pic of parents....date born....pics of the clutch....possibly pics of the male breeding the female(may not be possible). If you get resisyence from the person on gathering the info....or you get some kind of shifty story....WALK. I get hugely nervous buying hets from anyone that did not produce the hets themselves.
None of the above may be relavent if this is someone you already have a well established trusting relationship with. Good Luck! Sorry about all the caution.....just don't want someone else getting burned. There are some excellent smaller breeders out there....I just think they need to produce good solid records when they are selling hets.

I prefer buying direct from the breeder or trusted source.
