What must I use or what can I do ???????????????? HELP PRETTY PLEASE....

Have a small male gray tree frog with film on one eye ? Eye is blurry looking. I have misted the frog here & there to try & keep it moist in hopes that it would rub it off. No luck & has been going on for 3 days now. I tried carefully to rub it off with a wet Q-tip & it didn't come off. Looks like a shed that has dried or something. Almost looks like the lid (comes up from the bottom to close) might be stuck in the above dried skin. What can I use to help keep this moist & maybe come off ??? This is effecting the frogs vision, he jumps into things. I don't want him to loose this eye.

Thanks,
Jennie

It sounds like it could be some type of infection and might need medical attention. You might consider taking the frog to a veterinarian that has experience with amphibians. To locate one in your area see www.arav.org or www.herpvetconnection.com Good luck,
