Meal Worm Beetles

Do these bite? Since the mealwoms do, maybe it'd be better to offer the beetles if they don't.

I don't think they can. I got superworm beetles and they don't bite. And since the normal mealworms are smaller I doubt they will. You could try giving one to your frog or toad, they do move more so it would attract the toad or frog more.

mealworm beetles do not bite.i breed tons and they can be gutloaded pretty easy the only thing is they have a hard outershell. i feed them to my herps when the mealies just turn to beetles. when they are red. they are easily digested. good luck matt
