Sure. Some things to worry about - if the bulb is too close to the basking spot the temp can get high enough to burn. This becomes a concern when there is too abrupt of a thermal gradient and the lizard has to spend all its time under the bulb to stay warm.
I have used these bulbs before in many enclosures without problems, but have had a few burns when the monitor could bask too close to the bulb and the ambient temp got too cold. Or at least that's my interpretation of what happened.
