Freezing CGD for later use

mattleerocks Mar 09, 2005 09:53 PM

I bought a mini ice cube tray at kmart the other day and decided that I would mix CGD with water in the specified ratio and freeze it in the tray. Every time I feed my little guy, I just pop a small ice cube from the tray and let it melt in a dish in the cage. Anyone want to provide on input on feeding CGD this way?

I've tried this before, it seems that it works fine, although some geckos will refuse to eat it because its too cold (im guessing). I would probably die of brainfreeze if all my food were frozen when i ate it. Anyway, as it melts it should warm up, so try it and see for yourself whether it works.
