It's the second most wonderful time of the year! (d-up warning!)

The first being hatching time, of course!!!!

My female yellow Malaysian blood - "Saffron" - laid her first clutch last night.

First off, here's a pic of Saffron with her hubby, "Mello Yello." Normally she's a brightly colored animal...I was surprised how much she darkened up while gravid!

Here she is being a fabulous mom!!!

Final count was 15 perfect eggs, no duds or slugs. The eggs were smaller than what I'd expected, but I'm certainly NOT complaining!!!!

Doin' the happy naner dance!!!

Great clutch size and full size egg ratio for a first time female. She did an excellent job.

In life you can fall many times, but you're only a failure, if you don't try to get back up!
