How do you get around while herping?

How do you get around while out herping? I normally use an ancient 77 Honda ATC90 but its getting so old and hard to find parts for I think it will never see the forest again. I tried taking my mountain bike up there one time but the horrid powdery roads fouled the detailer in about 15 feet so that was out of the question.

Me too. I have a car (2000 Mercury Cougar) that sits pretty low to the ground and I can get back nearly any dirt road.

Walking in the woods is very nice in the summer (exceptthe misquitos).
