Help with a twitching Cali King!

ravenspearl Mar 10, 2005 12:41 PM

Hello all, new to the forum and to King Snakes.
Last October I bought a young Cali King Snake, she (just assuming, haven't had her sexed yet) was about 18" long. Haven't had any problems with feeding or shedding, and she seems to be perfectly healthy, nothing to indicate anything is wrong. However when I am handling her (which she is VERY comfortable with) sometimes she twitches. It can be either just her neck twitching slightly or even her whole body. They aren't violent, and don't seem to cause her pain or anything, but I am still concerned.

Anyone have any info for me?
Thanks!
Jen
