Hey,
I don't have any pics of a cage idea at the moment because my main computer is down for maintenance, but I have suggestions. I've tried this idea with one of my gecko's cages and it works great, but I think you should tile/slate and create a semi-realistic setup. I bought some driftwood, fake plants, a large cave and a rocky water dish, which went along with the tile really nicely. The fake cacti and bush plants look pretty cool with that sort of setup-- Plus a repti-hammack would go nice in the corner. Make sure you still have a humid hide, of course and that should look great. Have fun and post pics when you're done with whatever idea you go with.

I have looked at pictures online to try and get an idea of how to make a natural habitat and it seems like the natural habitat for leopard geckos are rocky outcroppings with a dusting of sand. There is some plants around, more like shrubs and bushes and less cactus.
I would love to put together an enclosure with real rock and sand but I'm too scared that my Leos might get impacted so I made fake rocks and used tile and moss to make it look like plants. I'm going to get an air plant to attach to my fake rock structure to make it blend in more with the background I have.
