feeder rodents in or near Portland, Oregon?

legless Mar 10, 2005 03:39 PM

Does anyone know a good seller of [preferably frozen] rodents in Portland, Oregon? I've bought from a guy in Eugene I like and trust, but that's a long drive. Rodentpro.com is good, but shipping is expensive, and I only have two snakes. I need rat fuzzies or pups. Thanks in advance.

I used to live in Portland. Why don't you try breeding your own? Just a thought . Anyhow, it is difficult to find feeders around Portland. Since I've moved the laws have changed a bit. I've read that Portland made it illegal to own ANY exotic pets or reptiles. Therefore why sell rodents as feeders? I could be wrong as its been a while since I've read it. Yes, Eugene is a bit of a drive (2 hours or more). Why not try Vancouver? The only options I see is you breeding them, or continuing to purchase the feeders through RodentPro. Sorry, maybe its the rain that soured everyones moods? But, good luck in your search!

We get all our rodents from Dudleys Exotics. They are located just outside of Hillsboro, a lot closer than Eugene. Give Mitch a call or e-mail them they are great guys to deal with. They have both frozen and live. E-mail is Mitmi85@aol.com Cell #503-332-8791.
