Carpet green tree cross

adamk Mar 10, 2005 07:39 PM

I have a wild caught green tree that I have had for two years. I put a jugle carpet python in with her a few months ago. Now she will not eat. I am pretty sure she is gravid. I was wondering if anyone knows how long to incubate the eggs? Thank you Adam

Incubate them until they hatch. LOL!
I am sure it'll be somewhere between the 50-52 days of regular GTP egg and the 56-62 days it takes for Carpets. Just treat the eggs like any other Morelia egg and you should be fine.
Please let us know how things go. I have a friend who just got a clutch too but got a high percentage of infertiles.
Good luck.
BTW, pictured is our male West Papuan X Sorong GTP carpondro named Chimaera.
